Casting Sculpture in Plaster

This is the first step in converting a sculpture that was originally created in plasticine, to the final destination which is a bronze casting. At this point I have  created a waste mold from the plasticine original sculpture, and am now removing the plaster mold from the plaster positive that I cast into the mold earlier. Now I am removing the mold with a mallet and screwdriver. ( a chisel would be too sharp and cut into the plaster sculpture. A screwdriver will shatter the plaster mold without harming the sculpture inside.)
